Negotiations for a new national agreement have recently concluded between United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 400 along with other unions as members of the Alliance of Health Care Union and Kaiser Permanente.
Based on COVID-19 best practices we will be unable to conduct a traditional contract meeting. All of America is struggling with ways to address the global pandemic COVID-19. We as a union, and you as an employee on the frontline of the healthcare industry, are doing what we can to ensure safe practices to limit the outbreak and its effects.
The Highlight of changes are available for review below. Please review them prior to coming to vote.
On Wednesday, December 8th, we will conduct the voting on proposed changes to the 2021 National Agreement in the first floor meeting room at UFCW Local 400, 8400 Corporate Drive, Suite 110, Landover, MD 20785. This Polling Location will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a count of all ballots after voting closes at 8:00 p.m. We encourage members to assist in the vote count promptly at 8:00 p.m.
Masks must be worn at all times during voting.
