As we recently announced, UFCW has reached a tentative agreement with Kaiser Permanente after months of negotiations.
Now it is time to put the agreement up for a vote. As always, this is your contract and your decision. Nothing goes into effect unless members vote to ratify the agreement.
To make it as convenient as possible for everyone to attend the contract meeting and cast their vote, we have added a virtual option in addition to our in-person meeting at our headquarters and voting will now take place electronically.

Contract Meeting – 6pm, March 24, 2026
Join us at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 for the contract meeting where we will review the agreements in detail and answer any questions you may have ahead of voting. You can attend the meeting in person at our headquarters or join virtually via Zoom video conference.

Electronic Voting – March 24-25
- All voting will happen electronically to make it as convenient as possible for everyone to vote.
- Voting will open at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, March 24 and close at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
- When voting opens, you will receive a text message and/or email with a unique link to your ballot at the phone number and/or email address we have on file. If you don’t see the email, please be sure to check your work and personal accounts, as well as junk folders.
- Do not share the link to your ballot with anyone else as it is unique to you. Whether you receive the link by text or email or both, you will be able to cast your vote only once.
- As with a paper secret ballot, your electronic vote is anonymous and confidential and no one will be able to know how you individually voted.

Results of the vote will be announced at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
