Countdown to Election Day

Make A Plan to Vote

While the COVID crisis continues, it is more important than ever to make a plan to vote in the upcoming elections. All elections have real-world consequences for you and your family, and this year there’s even more at stake. While we say every election is important, this year’s election will be the most important vote in your lifetime. It is imperative that you exercise your rights and make a plan to vote.

Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020, but you do not have to wait until then to vote!

From September 19 through October 31, 2020, you can vote early at your local registrar’s office to avoid the crowds and lines on election day. Alternatively, you can vote by mail or fill out a ballot at home and drop it off at your local registrar. If you are not yet registered to vote, you can register online until October 13, 2020. On the other side of this letter is more information on how you can register to vote and cast your ballot safely and securely.

Whether you vote early, vote by mail, or wait in line to vote on election day November 3rd, the most important thing is that you vote. As part of our union family, your voice and your opinion matter.

Do not let this election pass you by without making your voice heard.
