Join us on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. for a Tele-Town Hall on extending “hero pay” at Kroger!

We were overwhelmed by the response to our petition calling on Kroger to extend hero pay. Kroger workers, customers and community supporters all added their names. Today, we delivered all 12,601 petition signatures to Kroger’s corporate office and the CEO, Rodney McMullen.

But we know a petition may not be enough to sway Kroger corporate executives to do the right thing. So we’re getting ready to do more!

On our Tele-Town Hall, we will provide updates on steps our union is taking to push Kroger to extend “hero pay” as well as implementing enhanced policies to keep our members safe on the job.

We need every Kroger member to attend this important event. It will take all of us standing together to get Kroger to extend hero pay. Don’t miss it!

As the name suggests, a Tele-Town Hall is a town-hall-like event that takes place over telephone. In practice, it’s a lot like participating to a call-in show on the radio. We’ll have some brief remarks from our speakers, followed by Q&A with the audience and other interactive activities. Please bring your questions, comments, suggestions and feedback to share!

Fill out the form below to reserve your spot today!

Please note: This event is only open to Kroger workers represented by UFCW Local 400 in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. Registration will close two hours prior to the event at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3.
