On March 4, UFCW Local 400 members working at Boar’s Head facilities in Jarratt and Petersburg, Va. voted overwhelmingly in favor of ratifying a new union contract.

The four-year agreement adds the day after Thanksgiving as an additional holiday, maintains affordable health care, and provides generous across-the-board raises retroactively to November 2025.

“Congratulations to our members at Boar’s Head on winning a strong new contract,” said UFCW Local 400 President Mark Federici. “After a tough few years, we’re grateful to see so many folks back at work with all of the benefits and protections of a robust collective bargaining agreement. I’d like to especially thank the members of our bargaining committee for a job well done.”
