UFCW Local 400 was proud to support our union representative Linnette Floyd in putting together an outstanding team for the 2026 Bowling for Gold charity tournament!
The event raises money for the Community Services Agency (CSA) of the Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO. Formed in 1991, the CSA coordinates labor unions in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to support local families, meet community needs, and work towards an equitable social safety net for all.
This year’s tournament took place on Sunday, February 1 and supported the CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund, which distributes financial assistance for eligible workers facing emergency situations like evictions, utility cut-offs, food shortages, short-term medical needs, and more.
Linnette serves as a UFCW Local 400 union representative for our members in Maryland and Washington, DC. Last year, her team successfully raised more than $1,100 to support local union members in need!
