UFCW Local 400 members working at Solenis (formerly Clearon) in Charleston, W.Va. ratified new contracts last week.
The new three-year agreements covers a total of 53 workers in the Production, Maintenance and Shipping Departments and Laboratory and Storeroom Technicians. The contracts include a 9% average wage increase over the life of the agreements.
“Congratulations to our members at Solenis on winning a strong new contract,” said UFCW Local 400 President Mark Federici. “On top of wage increases, the new contracts have no concessions and build on top of previously established high standards.”
Solenis purchased the facility from Clearon in September 2022.
