UFCW Local 400 members working at Bloomingdale’s in Chevy Chase, Md. voted overwhelmingly to approve a new contract on Wednesday, November 5.
The new three-year agreement has no concessions and includes:
- Annual wage increases
- Longevity bonus
- Improved Joint Labor-Management committee provisions to incorporate safety as a topic of discussion
“Congratulations to our members at Bloomingdale’s on winning a strong collective bargaining agreement with zero concessions and added benefits,” said UFCW Local 400 President Mark P. Federici. “By sticking together through tough negotiations and despite the difficult economy, they came out ahead.”
