UPDATE: Tentative Agreement Reached on Kroger Roanoke Contract
We have reached a tentative agreement with Kroger on a new Roanoke contract! We, along with your bargaining advisory committee, are unanimously recommending members vote to ratify the agreement.
We have met with Kroger negotiators at great length this week, but the company is refusing to back off of its unacceptable proposals and we are no closer to a deal. We are meeting again tomorrow ahead of our current contract expiring at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, June 7.
As talks continue, we have scheduled a vote so members can cast a ballot on whatever offer the company provides at the conclusion of negotiations on Saturday, June 7.
For now, make a plan to join us on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. ET for a Tele-Town Hall where we will review the company’s offer in detail. The offer will be made available to members as soon as we have finished negotiations.
We are doing a Tele-Town Hall to make it as easy as possible for every member to attend the meeting. During the Tele-Town Hall, we will review the proposal in detail and answer any questions you may have. You must register to attend the Tele-Town Hall by filling out the form below.
After the Tele-Town Hall, voting will take place at stores throughout the region to provide every member with the opportunity to vote in their area. Voting will not take place over the phone. If you are unable to attend the Tele-Town Hall, print copies of the company’s offer will be provided at each voting site. Review the voting schedule below and make a plan to vote at a store near you.
Votes will be counted on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and any member can register to witness the vote count virtually at the link below. The results of the vote will be immediately announced to members after ballots are tallied.

Votes will be counted on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.* and broadcast over Zoom video conference. UFCW Local 400 members working under the Kroger Roanoke contract may register to witness the ballot count over Zoom.
