After three weeks of negotiations on our next union contract, Kroger continues to insist on proposals we would never vote to ratify. Kroger wants to undermine longtime union protections we have fought for, including seniority, new member orientation, and the grievance process. And their proposals around wages and benefits don’t add up – they want to put money in one pocket while taking it out of another.
It’s time for Kroger to get serious and time for us to turn up the heat and show them we are willing to do what it takes to win the contract we deserve.
