UFCW Local 400 members working at Clinton Healthcare Center in Clinton, Md., have overwhelmingly ratified a strong new three-year collective bargaining agreement.

Key contract provisions include:

  • Significant wage increases over the life of the agreement.
  • The elimination of tiers in which to receive holiday pay.
  • An additional floating holiday for members to use as they see fit.
  • The ability to utilize bereavement leave as members see fit.

“Our members at Clinton Healthcare work extraordinarily hard under challenging conditions to provide world-class care for their patients,” said Local 400 President Mark P. Federici. “For their first post-COVID contract, after they performed heroically throughout the pandemic, they more than earned the advancements and benefits they gained. I want to congratulate our members and their bargaining committee for their strength and solidarity.”
