Over the span of our last contract, we worked through COVID and made these companies more revenue than ever. Now it is time for our hard work to be rewarded. We’re ready to fight for our best contract in YEARS – and we’re going to need your help.
We have met with representatives from Giant & Safeway and negotiations are just getting started. We are still early in the process and there is much more to come. In the meantime, we are building up our Contract Action Team so we are ready to take action when the time comes.
As we move forward, we will invite you to take action with us to keep the pressure on both companies to negotiate a fair deal. If you see one of us in your store, don’t hesitate to talk to us, ask us questions, or make suggestions. We want to hear from you. We need your ideas and we need your participation to succeed.
The only way we will win a better contract is if we all stand united, stay informed, and take action together. We must show Giant & Safeway that we are united for our best contract. We’re ready to fight for what we deserve, and we need you to be ready too. Let’s do this!
