We have met with Kroger negotiators over Zoom video conference at great length, and despite the assistance of federal mediators, we are no closer to a deal.
Kroger continues to insist on drastic cuts, including:
- Cutting healthcare in the middle of a pandemic
- No pay raises for top-of-scale employees
- Gutting seniority rights for most experienced employees
Our goals are clear:
- Raises for EVERYONE
- Hands Off Our Health Care
- Respect Seniority

Talks will continue this week and we are committed to negotiating a fair agreement. The current contract is on extension until October 17. All of the benefits and protections of your current union contract remain in place during the extension.
