Negotiations between UFCW Local 400 and Bloomingdale’s for a new Chevy Chase contract have recently concluded.
Based on current prohibitions on gatherings and COVID-19 best practices we will be unable to conduct a traditional contract meeting. All of America is struggling with ways to address the global pandemic COVID-19. We as a union, and you as an employee on the frontline of the retail industry, are doing what we can to ensure safe practices to limit the outbreak and its effects.
We will conduct a Zoom Meeting (instructions shown below) on Thursday, October 15, 2020, where we will present the tentative agreement which has been mailed to you. The meeting will start at 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday, October 17, 2020, we will conduct the voting on proposed changes to your contract at the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase, 4300 Military Road NW, Washington, DC 20015. This Polling Location will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the morning and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. We encourage members to assist in the vote count promptly at 4:00 p.m. Masks must be worn at all times during voting.
