Kaiser has agreed to provide enhanced sick leave policies and PPE for our members working during this crisis.
The company will provide paid administrative leave during any quarantine period after exposure to COVID-19 at work. After a positive diagnosis, members are eligible for workers’ compensation.
Guidelines for masks and other PPE use have been developed, including the mask guidance here (insert mask guide). We are continuing to work with Kaiser to make sure that sufficient amounts of PPE are available to follow all guidance from the company and the CDC.
We will continue to work with Kaiser and every employer we represent to provide enhanced policies for our members working during this crisis, including sick leave, hazard pay, protective equipment, and more.
