Congratulations to Local 400’s Takoma Park Police Department member, Detective Private First Class Travis Ala, for being honored as 2013’s Officer of the Year! Currently Ala is serving on the bargaining committee for their contract! He’s also one of our police officers who has served both at Annapolis and Takoma unionized police departments!
