Kaiser Permanente’s educator community includes any employee who facilitates learning, such as clinicians who teach members or staff, group facilitators, technical, and Labor Management Partnership trainers.
Leave for continuing education/job development purposes may be granted with the approval of the Employer if the employee’s absence will not significantly affect the functioning of the department. Contact your shop steward or supervisor to get instructions on how to apply for educational leave.
