The Educator Development Programs Steering Committee encourages all KPMAS educators to attend the Learning Conference to help support professional development as an educator, instructor, or trainer.

The Learning Conference brings together members of Kaiser Permanente’s educator community, providing them with the opportunity to learn about techniques and methods to enhance their current educator skills. Kaiser Permanente’s educator community includes any employee who facilitates learning, such as clinicians who teach members or staff, group facilitators, technical, and Labor Management Partnership trainers.

Leave for continuing education/job development purposes may be granted with the approval of the Employer if the employee’s absence will not significantly affect the functioning of the department.  Contact your shop steward or supervisor to get instructions on how to apply for educational leave.

Visit the Educator Development Programs website on MASK to view the course offerings from the 2010 conference and for updates about this year’s conference.

If you have any questions, please e-mail the Educator Development Programs Steering Committee, MAS-EducatorPrograms@kp.org.
