Do you live in D.C.? Have you heard about the four Walmart’s trying to close in on the District? Walmart: Respect DC is a campaign coordinated by the Living Wages Healthy, Communities Coalition. The Coalition’s goal is to hold Walmart accountable by presenting them with a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) that states if Walmart is to come to DC they must pay living wages and hire within D.C. where the unemployment is very low.
