Today is day 3 of the protests in Wisconsin that have drawn 30,000 people.
Thousands of state and local public service workers and teachers have been demonstrating since Tuesday inside and outside the state Capitol in Wisconsin to oppose the threatened loss of collective bargaining rights and cuts to retirement and health benefits.
Below are links to coverage of the protests.
There’s a roundup of Wisconsin rally schedules and news reports over at We Party Patriots. At least two separate campaigns span across labor and progressive groups, and each has a Facebook and Twitter presence: StopScottWalker and NotMyWisconsin. Check them out, and see if you think Walker will be able to stay true to his threat not to bargain with unions.
The anti-worker legislation is being pushed in Ohio by Governor John Kasich. Four UFCW members will be submitting testimony today in opposition.
