Governmental Affairs: Keeping an eye on State and Federal legislators, making sure that the bills and laws passed reflect the best interests of our membership. Organizing: Helping working men and women make positive changes in their wages, benefits and working conditions by assisting them in gaining union representation and their first workplace contract. Community Affairs: Recognizing that union representation doesn’t stop in the workplace, UFCW Local 400 strives to stay involved in the neighborhood and communities in which our membership resides.
