With November 4th elections rapidly approaching we wanted to feature our recommended candidate for the West Virginia seat on the US Senate, currently West Virginia’s Secretary of State, Natalie Tennant. December 2013, Tennant stopped by our Kroger shop stewards seminar to show her support in our contract fight, as an AFSCME union member herself she is, “pro-worker, pro-solutions and pro-West Virginia.”
“In the upcoming elections we have to focus on West Virginia Values, and not the Washington, DC way,” Tennant said to the group of stewards. “West Virginia needs someone who brings action, who brings results, who brings opportunities. Someone who looks forward to the possibilities and the promise of West Virginia, and someone who understands and respects the contributions our workers make.” Check out the full list of recommended candidates for the West Virginia races.
